Pipework Systems Design
Define:
Our client is a supplier of pumps and pipework systems for the Water Utilities industry. A number of years ago, we were approached to design contained chemical dosing systems for a huge client of theirs. We have been designing these systems on a regular basis ever since.
Design:
The chemical dosing systems are contained within a GRP console which utilises transparent sliding doors for access to all of the pipework. Our client provide us with general P&IDs designed by their process engineers and we engineer the real world solution for them, creating the manufacturing drawings for the units to be manufactured to.
Deliver:
Kingston CAD Solutions designed all of the chemical dosing kiosks using the latest 3D systems. We design all of the kiosk make up from GRP and the pipework routes and incorporate the necessary instruments for the process. This allows us to clearly show our clients what the systems will look like when complete. We produce all of the 3D models, manufacturing drawings and update all of the P&Ds where required.
